New HTC Phones for 2010 Leaked

The HTC Legend is part of the 8-phone package that was “leaked” out of the office and into the hands of the general public. The HTC Bravo was also part of this “leak” and is expected to be the other major handset to be released by HTC.  Other models expected to be released by HTC include the HTC Salsa, HTC Tide, HTC Buzz, HTC Trophy,  HTC Photon, and the HTC Tera.

HTC-Legend

The HTC Legend touchscreen features HVGA resolution and measures 3.2”.  The camera is 5 megapixels and comes loaded with on board GPS and has Wi-Fi, HSPA, and 3G connectivity capabilities.

The audio jack is 3.5mm and operates on a Qualcomm 600Mhz MSM7227 CPU for superior performance and also has 256mb of RAM.

The mobile phone is extremely thin measuring at only 11.4mm and is due out in March of 2010if there are no delays. If you compare the specs of the HTC Legend with the HTC Hero you will notice they are very similar with the Legend being slightly faster and a tiny bit smaller.

The HTC Legend is set to be released in the first half of 2010 and is being launched on the Google Android OS.

The HTC Bravo is expected to turn heads with its massive 3.7” AMOLED display and will be capable of producing HD 720p video and is expected to be a huge performer in 2010. The HTC Bravo is powered by a 1 Ghz Snapdragon CPU and will be able to support DivX for high end videos.

The handset will come with standard Wi-Fi, GPS, and a 3.5mm audio jack and is loaded with the Google Android OS. The RAM is 256MB in size and the mobile phone is reported to come with a 16GB Micro-SD card for extra storage.  To top off the HTC Bravo is the 5 megapixel camera, FM Radio, and the 3G network support.

The HTC Bravo is expected to be in stores in April of 2010 and most likely won’t be there for long.

Next up is the HTC Salsa, which is one of the more affordable mobile phones that will be offered by HTC. It will come with a 2.6” touchscreen and a nice full QWERTY keyboard layout for easy texting. The phone will also be able to support Wi-Fi, 3G, and GPS.  The HTC Salsa will be powered by the Qualcomm 528Mhz MSM7225 CPU and comes with a standard 256mb of RAM.

The Salsa is set to be released in June of 2010 and is expected to make a huge splash in the market of entry-level phones.

The HTC Buzz is also expected to be released in 2010 and is expected to pack a lot of punch including having a nice sized 3.2” touchscreen and come loaded with the Google Android OS. For those who are concerned about camera quality the HTC Buzz does come with a 5.0 Megapixel camera and comes with a wide array of interchangeable backplates that are available in different designs. The HTC Buzz is set to be released in May of 2010.

The HTC Tide is very similar to the HTC Buzz except the Tide has a physical QWERTY keyboard and has a smaller 2.7” touchscreen.  Also the camera is slightly lower end coming in at 3.2 compared to the 5.0 that the Buzz carries. This phone will also carry the Google Android OS and is set to be launched in April of 2010.

HTC also has a smaller collection of Windows based mobiles with the HTC Photon which has a beautiful 3.2” touchscreen as well as a nice 5 megapixel camera that comes loaded with autofocus and a sleek 600Mhz CPU. The date for this beast is slated for April.

The HTC Trophy is definitely a tiny prize to have in your pocket as it features a nice QWERTY keyboard layout for easy texting and a3” touchscreen as well as a 5 megapixel camera also with autofocus like the Photon and is set to be released one month later in May of 2010.

Lastly we have the HTC Tera, which features a sliding QWERTY keyboard and a large 3 inch touchscreen. The Tera also comes loaded with 600 Mhz CPU and 3.2 Megapixel camera. As of right now there is no set date for launch although industry experts speculate it will be either early 2010 or June of 2010.
