New SE Arc HD Images
Earlier today new pics of an upcoming Sony Ericsson model have been leaked to the popular phone website GSMArena. We should all probably join GSMArena by saying “thanks” to the tipster, since the photos are of pretty good quality and allow us to take a good look at the device that has been talked about on the Internet endlessly. Known under the codename Nozomi, also referred to as Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc HD, the phone is set to become the flagship model for the company, and it certainly has what it takes to play that role.

The Nozomi, or whatever it’s called, boasts a 4.3-inch screen with a 1280×720 resolution, which explains why the Xperia Arc HD name has been speculated. More interestingly, the phone packs a 12 megapixel camera, which puts the phone ahead of most current offerings on the market and means 1080p video recording is on the menu. Thanks to the HDMI port, you can enjoy those videos on you TV screen. Powering the device is a dual-core Snapdragon CPU clocked at 1.5 Ghz. There’s 1 gig of RAM, but strangely no microSD slot, so you must choose between either 16 or 32 GB of internal memory.
Lumia 800. The phone is likely to ship with Android Gingerbread, but will surely be upgraded to Ice Cream Sandwich along with the other models in the Xperia range.
We don’t have to wait much longer for the phone, as it’s highly likely to be unveiled early next year.
