LG Miracle Spotted In Video

LG Miracle Spotted In Video

The closer MWC 2012 is, the more leaked pictures and features of upcoming devices we get. There is a lot of info about high-end, mid-range and even low-end handsets, which is very good, since all consumers have different incomes and are interested in different kinds of devices.

LG is one of those companies that offer a portfolio full of smartphones of different price ranges. Not so long a new handset, the LG Miracle, has been spotted in pictures and in a video. The handset must be familiar to you from the last leak where some of the features were noted. At the moment though not that much is available, the video hints the LG Miracle is ready for production and most likely it will be unveiled at the event expected to take place on February 27 – March 1 in Barcelona.

The LG Miracle was known as the Fantasy, but it didn’t stick with this name long. On the whole, both names are acceptable, but, in my humble opinion, it would be better if the the company chose something else, because Miracle and Fantasy are more suitable for a high-end smartphone, while the LG Miracle is a mid-range device that doesn’t have any outstanding features.

The Miracle was rumored to come with a 4-inch touchscreen and a 5MP camera — both features are confirmed by the video. There are also rumors saying that the device will feature a 1GHz single-core processor, which is not that great, since the smartphone market has switched to more powerful chips a long time ago, and even Nokia packs its handsets with processors clocked at 1.4GHz. Plus, there is also 8GB of internal memory, which is enough for a mid-range handset. There are some doubtful rumors that the device will also offer NFC support, but I think the latter will get refused once the official specs list is announced, as the LG Miracle runs Windows Phone 7.5 Mango, which doesn’t support the Near Filed Communication technology. At best it will be disabled until the phone gets the Tango update.
