LG Optimus L7 Available In UK SIM-free
The most powerful handset from LG’s L-style series is the LG Optimus L7, and though it’s way better than its siblings in face of the Optimus L5 and L3, we can’t call it a flagship. In this sense LG’s current top-end smartphone is the Optimus 4X HD. Well, the L7 was announced at MWC in February, but it was launched in Europe at the beginning of April. I am not talking about the UK’s release, because this device started getting pre-orderes here only a week ago. Now it is available for purchase, but it’s currently offered only by retailers.
LG think this is one of the most stylish handsets they have ever made, but honestly the phone doesn’t differ much from other LG-branded smartphones. Of course, the company has made some changes to fit the hardware under the hood, but totally it looks like a standard LG device. Anyway, we must admit the L7 is a perfect option for those who want to own an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-packed handset not paying astronomical sums. The SIM-free and unlocked LG Optimus L7 is sold for £238.80 (VAT included), though there are other versions costing less and coming a bit later.

As for the phone, it comes with a 4.3-inch IPS touchscreen with a resolution of 480×800 pixels similar to Windows Phone-powered devices, a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, a 5MP rear camera, a VGA frontal camera for web chat, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of native storage expandable up to 32GB.
All in all, LG emphasizes the design of the L-line handsets, but as the current smartphone market has many other units looking really attractive, we must admit the L-style handsets are designed for larger masses, thus every feature in their specs list has been chosen led by the maxim, “All is good in moderation.”
