HTC Desire C Available In UK
Though the HTC Desire C was first leaked via Vodafone Portugal, the first country to meet the phone was announced to be the UK. Later we learned that the launch date for this market was set to be May 24. This day has has already passed, and we decided to take a look at the UK mobile operators and retailer stores in order to find out whether the Desire C is already there. Fortunately, the device is offered by them, and it doesn’t cost a fortune, too.
The HTC Desire C is a budget smartphone, the selling point of which is the presence of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS with HTC Sense 4.0 UI. It also comes with a 3.5-inch HVGA display with a 320×480 pixel resolution, a 600MHz Qualcomm processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal storage, microSD card slot, a 5MP camera, Beats Audio support, and a 1,230mAh battery.

Anyway, the HTC Desire C is offered via Orange, T-Mobile and Three for free. But you’ll have to sign a two-year agreement with the mobile operators and pay £13 ($20) monthly fee that will give you 100 minutes, 5,000 texts and 250MB of monthly data. The phone’s off-contract price is £169 at T-Mobile and Orange, and £149 at Three. Moreover, all three mobile operators will be launching the NFC-enabled version sometime soon.
Though many people are looking for more powerful devices and are ready to pay high prices, there is a huge number of users that can’t afford buying too expensive handsets. In this sense, the HTC Desire C might become the next Wildfire S, which was very famous among smartphone users.
