HTC Evo 3D Getting Android 4.0.3 ICS Update
Last month HTC unveiled the timing list for its smartphones scheduling many of them for getting ICE update. Though some of them have already got Android 4.0, most HTC smartphones still stick to Gingerbread, which is bad especially if we take into account how actively other companies are developing their software. But that list promised that all promised HTC devices will be upgraded to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich by the end of summer, which cleared the air from all kinds of negative conversations. As for now, though the HTC Evo 3D has been queued to get its portion of the update in July or August, the company makes a surprise and pushes it out right now, in the end of June!
The update is not available for all users but only for those who live in Europe, Middle East and Africa. This means the British users can download the update, which is great news.

This update is 300MB in size, and besides changing the software version to Android 4.0.3, it also brings HTC Sense 3.6 alongside with many improvements.
However, there are some problems with finding and downloading the update — according to many forums, people were not able to download it even after looking for it manually. This means the Android 4.0.3 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the HTC Evo 3D is not available in all of the aforementioned regions. This can be conditioned by the fact that the company pushes it out in batches, which of course takes some time.
The HTC Evo 3D is the second smartphone of the company that is getting the Android 4.0 ICS update after the HTC Sensation XL, but we hope the next months will be more productive in terms of updates.
