Pink Sony Xperia P Appeared In Hong Kong
Sony is one of those manufacturers that launch smartphones one after another. Earlier HTC used to follow this strategy, too, but then the Taiwanese company failed and understood that releasing so many phones at the same time wasn’t quite a good idea. Korean Samsung also launches many handsets in a short time period; as for Nokia, the Finnish smartphone vendor doesn’t come with many handsets, but its portfolio is the most polychromatic one… though it seems this exclusivity won’t belong to Nokia for too long, because Sony has started bringing more colors to its Xperia lineup.
Yesterday were talking about the Sony Xperia S that will appear in dark silver in addition to the black and white versions. I’m not even talking about the slightly modified variant of this phone dubbed the Xperia SL that will arrive in blue and pink. As you see Sony is too serious, as it has realized that colors can play a huge role in attracting buyers. That’s why the manufacturer has announced that one of its mid-range handsets, the Xperia P, will come in pink as well.

The phone is already launched in Hong Kong and guys over RingHK have managed to get their hands on it and take a couple of photos. Looking at them we can say Sony has made a great job and especially the female part of the market must be very happy, because now they can pick up one of the best mid-range phones with a feminized housing.
As to the rest of features, the Xperia P sports a 4-inch LED-backlit LCD qHD screen with Sony WhiteMagic technology and Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine, a dual-core 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, an 8MP camera with 1080p video recording capability and a VGA frontal camera. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and will be getting its dose of ICS very soon.
There is no info on when the pink Xperia P will arrive in other markets, but as Sony acts very fast, we should wait for it in coming weeks.
